ROCKFORD - Belvidere jumped out to a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter and ran away from Johnsburg, 78-51.
Will Morris topped the Bucs, who improved to 2-1 in the J-Hawk MLK Showcase, with 25 points. Joey Hernandez and Phil Kolk chipped in 12 each.
Zach Toussaint led the Skyhawks with 17 points, but was held to two in the final two quarters as Belvidere pulled away.
