Boylan starts fast, finishes off Batavia

ROCKFORD - Zach Couper scored 13 of his 23 points in the first half as Boylan opened up a double-digit it would never relinquish, knocking off Batavia, 57-46.

Couper did most of his damage at the free-throw line, making 12 of 13. Max Farson added 11 points for the Titans, who improved to 2-1 in the Showcase with a final game tonight against Elgin Larkin.

Eric Peterson led the Bulldogs with 10 points.
